Partnering for Global Health Forum 2010

Connecting people and ideas to save lives in the developing world

The 2010 Partnering for Global Health Forum took place at Lakeside Center in Chicago during the week of May 3.

This year’s meeting was held in conjunction with the Biotechnology Industry Organization’s (BIO’s) International Convention. The Partnering for Global Health Forum is a one-of-a-kind international partnering meeting focused on creating new market-based solutions that speed the development of drugs, vaccines, and diagnostics for the world’s poorest.

The meeting took place just steps from the BIO International Convention, which provided our non-profit, funder, academic, governmental and non-governmental registered attendees with access to the Convention’s most important component – the Business Forum – at no additional cost. The Business Forum is the biotech world’s largest partnering event with representatives of more than 1,700 biotech and pharmaceutical companies from around the world.

The meeting also featured one day of high-impact panel discussions, followed by two days of partnering and networking opportunities that brough together the perspectives of the biopharmaceutical industry, potential funders, and international health experts to confront the pressing needs for innovation and explore new avenues for progress. To learn more about the Forum, read our live blog here or watch the archived webcast.
