WHO Stands by Its Numbers on Malaria Deaths

A recent study stating that nearly twice as many people are dying of malaria worldwide than current estimates predict is being called into question by the World Health Organization (WHO), VOA reports. The study reports that 1.24 million people died of malaria in 2010, while the WHO estimates that 655,000 deaths were caused by malaria that year. Read more
