Live Blogging the 2010 Partnering for Global Health Forum

Posted by: BIO Ventures for Global Health on 5/1/2010
The 2010 Partnering for Global Health Forum is just hours away and we still have a few tricks up our sleeve.

In addition to providing a live webcast of the day’s event – which you can read all about on our blog post Virtual Reality – we will be live blogging from the event throughout the day. Come here to read about how our panelists, audience, and online viewers are contributing to the discussion about how to speed the development of new drugs, vaccines, and diagnostics for the world’s poorest.

You can also follow the BVGH team all week here on the blog and on Twitter.

Follow Thayer Hardwick, Policy Analyst

Follow Jennifer Manganello, Development Associate

Follow Molly Polen, Director of Communications

The live broadcast begins at 9:00 AM CST. You can view all of the action by following this link: http://pgh2010.dynamicwebcasting.net/.

View the full day’s program at pgh.bio.org.

And don’t forget that there is still time to register for the Partnering for Global Health Forum. For those of you in Chicago, we will be registering attendees all day on-site.

Join us at the Forum as we connect people and ideas to save lives in the developing world!

At the present time I live about 40 minutes from downtown Chicago. I'm interested in raising awareness about the global health care crisis. There are still parts of the world where people still die from diseases that are treatable in the developed World. I would really like to take part in the global health forum to help spread the awareness about the state of the World's global health. international travel medical insurance

"Glad to see an effort is made to improve the standards global healthcare. There is a general negative perception of drug and pharmaceutical companies because of the money hungry image they sometimes show. I hope that by working with BVGH, they can right that image, and prove that they too want to benefit the less fortunate and make healthcare more affordable to developing countries. " Read more »
